Her extensive experience spans 25 years, including government relations and public affairs work at the local, state, and federal levels of government. She has gone from hill staffer, to lobbyist, to entrepreneur and is passionate about women's empowerment and leadership in the policy arena. Petersen is the Founder of the Professional Women in Advocacy Conference, a national conference that attracts women working in advocacy, government relations, public affairs, political engagement, politics, campaigns and public policy.  LeeAnn is a past Board Member and Past President of Women in Government Relations, a professional society of 1000+ women in the field of lobbying.
